Haaretz is the kind of mainstream media you will never see in the US anytime soon. Perhaps John Stewart with his The Daily Show that is considered controversalb to conservatives and Neo cons in the US. John Stewart interviewed Palestinian Dr. Mustafa Barghouti and Jewish American Anna Baltzer on his show last week which caused a stirr in the media scene.

John Stewart I will give a pass,because everything he said was everything I was taught,or shall i say brainwashed into believing. Soon John Stewart will either go 2 ways He knows now that the Palestinians plight,and once ur eyes are open they are never shut.I fear he may cave in do to the pressure of Jewish groups ,or do the right thing,and tell the truth abt Israel brutal occupations of the Palestinians for more than 60 yrs
i agree that obama should stop sucking up but not just to israel.. he should also not suck up to the arab world or to iran or to europe or anyone..
his policies are grovel based and nauseating and so conttradictory that its insane..
i would love for reconciliation to progress and for the palos to live in dignity and for two states to be established side by side or whatever works best.. but frankly we;re getting one psycho after another leading the worlds last super power and its not helping anyone..
the fact that he is "that nice" to us is not helpful either..
UNLESS
better things are cooking beneath the surface.. who knows..
Obama has done what I expected out of him. Stopped the senseless policy constantly upping the ante of the Bush-Cheney regime. Not sure what more he can do but ask the two sides to talk - which hasn't proven useful so far. he can only take the horses to the water you know.
