This is an interview with an Arab American Muslim Palestinian Peace Activist living in Florida. She is explaining the war in Gaza and how complicated the situation is now in the Middle East. She is the author of "Arab Voices Speak to American Hearts". I read this book and I recommend it to all who is interested in knowing more about Arabs (Muslims and Christians) and the Middle East crisis.
This is a slap on the face for all who claim Muslims and Arabs are not vocal.

It was good to see this (again)! I found myself looking at the Gaza strip as the author spoke: is it me or is that one tiny piece of land that has 1.5 million people in it? My spatial skills aren't the greatest, but on a proportional level, I imagine that each inhabitant of Gaza doesn't even have a few centimenters of space. And note the proximenity to Egypt--Israel clearly is the primary border, but Egypt definitely has a boundary--just opening that little slot could save lives. I'm getting a bit cynical on the Egyptian role in the peace process when they could let goods in through that border. I just heard that Iran had a freighter sent back; sure, why should Israel trust Iran, but if UN and Red Cross people investigate the ship, they can clear it for any booby traps. But it probably doesn't matter anyway, as no one will let the aid in.
Just to start a dialog: what do others think of the other 3 speakers on that program, including the woman who is in Gaza?
This was a great piece, Samar Dahmash-Jarah is a sharp woman!!
Thanx for sharing that, I wish she was out there more in the media. This is the first time I saw her.

Many have spoken out in the US but the media is bias. They are willing to make it as Israel is the victim. It is shameful that in the US they cannot be fair and bias. I am surprised that clip is from fox. The neo-cons there are pro Israel.
I might add the the demostrations going around is changing some of that. The internet is also helping as to what they are saying.
